Practical information
Age
You need to be at least 20 years old to play at our events.
Location
Tihange Castle, we rent the entire castle. You will eat, play and sleep in the privacy of the castle and its grounds. This way we never break play, ensuring total immersion.
Accommodation
We have many different sizes of rooms and amenities to offer, hence our different prices.
A few examples:
A private room with double bed, bathroom ensuite and room to entertain guests.
A two person bedroom with a bathroom down the hall.
All rooms have their own special ambiance and color palette but all are charming in their own way. The cheapest rooms are the ones that share a bathroom down the hall. During sign up you can express your preferences. Rooms with a double bed are automatically buddy tickets: you need to sign up with somebody in mind to share your bed.
Accessibility
The castle is unfortunately not accessible for persons with reduced mobility, visual impairment or people who have trouble climbing stairs. Check the photos or contact us with any questions if you're in doubt. We regret that we might not be able to make it more comfortable for players with disabilities to join us this time, we are hoping to improve this in our next events.
Our game will also include light walking and outdoor activities, you don’t need to be an athlete to take part in our game but you need to be mobile and able to run for safety in a short burst when needed.
Transport to location
For players who arrive by plane: we will organize a shuttle from the airport.
For players who arrive by train (station Huy/Hoei): we will pick you up at the station, it’s only a 10 min drive to the location.
For players who arrive by car: plenty of free parking around the venue, for electrical car drivers we accommodate your transport to a car charging station
There is a bus stop down the street should you wish to travel this way, we can provide you with the bus details.
For our guests who are considering making it a holiday with a few extra days in advance or afterwards, please contact us for more info. This part of Belgium is very rich in history and has beautiful walks in forest green. The city of Huy for instance has a vast citadel you can visit, a beautiful 14th century church, a prehistoric museum and lots more. We are happy to point you in the right direction to get to know this lush green part of Belgium called De Ardennen.
Food & Drinks
You will be provided with fresh and healthy meals during our event of which most will be in buffet style. There will be snacks for those who wish during the workshops, a warm meal on Friday evening after the game has started, a breakfast, cold lunch and warm dinner on Saturday and a festive brunch on Sunday as an afterparty.
These will be provided to you by a seasoned cooking team and or caterers. They will keep your allergies and preferences in mind which you can express during sign up.
